Fourth of July at the Rockies Game Gary, 1 December 20104 December 2010 We spent the 4th of July (it was actually the 3rd) at Coors Field. Ubaldo Jimenez was pitching and if you remember he was one of the hottest pitchers before the All-Stat Break. This game he was going for his 10th win and only had 1 loss. Unfortunately he gave up 7 runs in the 2nd inning and the Rockies went on to lose the game to the San Fran Giants. After the game we were treated to a great fireworks display. They move all the people in the ‘Rock Pile’ section of the stands onto the field so they can see the fire works. The pictures show the empty field and the field full of spectators. Enjoy the pictures. ekBlog Main
