After 25 hours of flying and a 2 hour bus ride we made it to the hotel about 3am local time on Sunday. They gave us the rest of Sunday off to adjust to the time shift.
The weather here is unchanging. Hot and humid all day and all night! The city is crowded and stinks of rotten garbage and sewer. The hotel is right on the ocean, but it is not advised to swim in it. Until recently all the raw sewage from the city dumped right into the water, now only some of it does! I haven’t had a chance to get out and see much yet. Maybe in the next few days.
